I began documenting dairy and cheese traditions in 2019.

All these photos I took in 2023, after I began carrying a digital camera.

Summer mountain farms, rustic goat/cow milk cheeses, and butter making.

Backyard wine pressing,

basement pork feasts,

and heritage goat breeds.

A cheese aged in goat skin,

the endangered Karakachan sheep,

making cheese in a shepherd camp.

Cooking milk over a fire,

spending time with camel pastoralists,

an old technique of butter churning,

a Rabari man milks his goats,
